Song length and tempo of popular music from 1958 to 2018
My gut told me that pop music was getting shorter — so I found this spreadsheet which includes all Billboard Hot 100 singles since 1958 and their audio characteristics. Using Google Sheets and Data Studio, I visualized song length and tempo changes (for additional context) to get a data-driven answer.
